Description

・Blended matcha green tea powder from Mikawa, Aichi, Japan. Slightly deeper roasting enhances its rich Hika (火香 - roasted aroma) with distinct nutty notes.

・With its nutty flavor profile, it is perfect for cold beverages—iced matcha latte, or mixed with cold water, sparkling water, or tonic water for a crisp, refreshing taste.

・Crafted from first-harvest, shade-grown tea leaves (Okumidori, Samidori, Yabukita) including handpicked leaves, and stone-ground to perfection.

・50g per tin (17–25 servings).

How To

[Usucha (Hot Matcha)]
Matcha: 2g  Hot water: 80℃ (176℉) 70ml

  1. Take a deep breath and focus on your breathing to center yourself.
  2. Add matcha into the bowl. If lumps are a concern, sift the matcha.
  3. Pour hot water.
  4.  Whisk for 15-30secs and Enjoy! Use chasen (bamboo whisk) for the best foam and taste.

[Iced Matcha]
Matcha: 2g  Hot water: 40ml

  1. Whisk matcha with hot water.
  2. Add plenty of ice, and wait a moment before drinking.

[Iced Latte]
Matcha: 3g  Hot water: 40ml Milk: 150ml

  1. Whisk matcha with hot water.
  2. Pour over milk and ice.

Co-Creation with a Tea Farmer in Mikawa, Aichi

Crafted in Mikawa region using traditional shade-growing and classic Mikawa-style Tencha kiln, incorporating a selection of hand-picked leaves. In close collaboration with tea farmer Yoshitaka Noba, we meticulously refined the roasting process. This blend preserves the tea’s natural umami while drawing out a rich, radiant "Hika" (toasted aroma).
