Why We Chose This Matcha

We selected this matcha for its exceptional quality and distinct character.

Made from the Asahi cultivar, it is defined by rich umami, refined sweetness, and a clean finish. These qualities are the result of both the cultivar itself and the careful work of tea farmer Noba-san.

The combination of a single producer, a single cultivar, and a traditional approach to tea making makes this a matcha we are pleased to share as part of our collection.
